The Township has kicked off a review and update of Development Charges By-law 20-084 which was passed in 2020 and will expire January 1st, 2026. Development Charges are an important source of the Township's revenue used to help finance the costs of growth-related capital projects. Working with the firm Hemson Consulting Ltd., the Township will be producing a Development Charges Background Study and draft updated Development Charges By-law which will be available for review and comment in the spring.
