Municipal Library Services

Tiny residents can obtain a non-resident library membership at one of four area libraries: Midland, Springwater, Penetanguishene, or Wasaga Beach.

Under Council direction, reimbursement is limited to one library per household. This means that residents can choose the library that is most convenient for them to use, and all members of that household can go to that library. Note: Library memberships are limited to one per household in total, not a membership at each library.

The Township of Tiny has agreements in place with the Midland, Springwater, and Penetanguishene libraries for library services in 2025. These agreements are between the township and the particular library to provide a seamless transition for our residents and will not require any money to be paid upfront by residents. For residents choosing to go to the Wasaga Beach library, the township will reimburse the cost of the library membership.

Wasaga Beach Public Library

In August 2024, Council voted to add the use of the Wasaga Beach Public Library as one of the options for Tiny residents. At this time, Tiny residents can choose the Wasaga Beach Library as their library of choice and pay for a non-resident membership card from the Wasaga Beach Library for their household, and bring the receipt into the Township of Tiny to be reimbursed by cheque. Residents can also submit receipts with their full name and address by email to taxdepartment@tiny.ca or mail to the Township Office at 130 Balm Beach Road West, Tiny, ON, L0L 2J0.
