(Tiny, Ontario) In order to enhance safety along Tiny Beaches Road, an all-way stop will be established at the intersection of Tiny Beaches Road South and Concession 9 West, the week of October 3, 2022.
These changes come as a result of feedback received by the Township during the preparation of the Transportation Master Plan. The new layout will include pedestrian crosswalks for increased safety.
Currently, only Concession 9 West traffic is required to stop for oncoming traffic. With the new configuration, drivers on Tiny Beaches Road South will be required to stop as well. All drivers stopped at the intersection must yield to pedestrians using the newly constructed crosswalks. Drivers are urged to use extra caution at this intersection as traffic on Tiny Beaches Road South adjusts to the new stop signs.
New stop signs will be erected on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. Enforcement of the all-way stop will commence immediately upon installation. Painting of stop bars and crosswalks will commence later that week.
